Yes my post was mainly about how there havenāt been many upsets among the top 5 seeds, but also how we and Duke were the only ones even really close among the top 3, both losing or tied with 5 minutes left. Gonzaga was up 10 at that point.
All thatās to say the ACC has been pretty bad so far this tournament
Letās stop with the gaslighting. Gonzaga game was within 5 at 3:00 and stayed a two-possession game until the end. That game was close.
Alabama was only up 5 at the 5:00 mark.
Same with Vanderbilt.
Bottom line, several top seeds were close until they werenāt in the final minutes. Same with Virginia.
Trying to say Virginia is the only top seed that did not ādominateā (your word choice) its opponentāusing the above tweet as evidenceāis not supported by the facts.

McNeese gave Vandy a run for their money and that game ended at 10. Kennesaw also made a late runā¦that was a 5 point game with 2 mins left.
I would also be shocked if any other high seed had to deal with a center who had been 1-6 from 3 on the season going 5-9.

Yeah thatās fair. I didnāt watch the Gonzaga game so I just looked at the kenpom probabilities and it was 10 at 5 minutes but I guess they had the ball up 5 with 2 minutes left, same as us. The vast majority of top 3 and 4 seeds have been massive blowouts, except for us, Gonzaga and Duke. Worried cinderella is dying

Spread and analytics dont matter anymore. Survive and advance. I just watched a guy who hit 1 3 all year (and it being back in 2025) hit 5 threes on us. And we survived. And we advanced.
We could be playing the school for the death and blind and if we only win by 1, we still survive and advance. Anything else is just looking for something to suffer about. And we already have UVA basketball as a whole to do that for us.
