Yeah, seriously. Is it too late to hire McCollum?
Pretty sure Nash Griffin (Kyle Guy’s HS teammate) told Bronco that if he wanted Nash to come back for a 5th year to be the punter, he had to put him on scholarship. If not, he was going to start his I Banking job instead.
UNCW giving TTech a good game.
A lot of that fluidity is the product of most of his main guys playing together in his offense for many years already. That’s going to be hard to replicate at the P4 level in the current environment.
The steak dinners sound very nice!
UCSD has had so many good looks from 3…shooting 6-27. Feels like they’ve been one of those shots going down away from a tidal change several times.
Their guards/wings are so tricky around the rim. Jay Wright at Nova-like with the fakes and playing off of two feet.
There it is with the 3 falling for UCSD! McGhie has been trying to cook a Michigan big all night and it finally went down.
That was a phantom foul call right? Seems like Michigan’s gotten bailed out by a couple. Oh missed it anyway
UCSD LEADS.
NEVERMIND.
Whew. That was a kinda crazy sequence to end up with no buckets or fouls.
Dueling blocks, but I think San Diego’s was more
Impressive
That was an over the back on Goldin, should have fouled him out of the game.
I’d be willing to hire Olen as well as McCollum.
I’m also ok with Oden, but wow.
Felt like the shot he pump faked was his best opportunity
Such a terrible last possession. That’s an impressive win for Michigan, just not to buckle when UCSD got over the hump. They had all the momentum going against them and turned it.
Yeah McGhie had space initially and then Wolf realized he really just needed to not give up a 3.
Came here to say that. Sime switch step back 3? You have a t8meout
UCSD is insane, you had more than enough time to go for a two and then foul.
Yeah. They played really well almost all game and then were dumb on the final possession.
Edit - It would have been fun for UCSD to win, but overall I am adequately entertained by today’s games. Wasn’t amazing, but there was plenty of good basketball to be watched for ~12 hours. A fine start to the best 48 hours in college basketball each year. Even better than the season’s start and the championship game, imo.
