No Hoos, barely any ACC. Burn it down.
Amazing that McNeese St gave up the rare 5-point possession with a shooting foul and two techs.
Everyone who hoops knows that the Wilson Evolution is by far the best ball to shoot with. Wish all schools used them instead of shoe brand balls.
All season long, we will use use one special kind of basketball so you’re all comfortable shooting with it, and then in the postseason when games matter most, we shall switch to an entirely different ball so that you shoot for shit.
But why sir?
It’s like a bunch of kinds, right? Basketball used is at the discretion of the home school? Having a special tournament ball is kinda dumb regardless.
The more shiny new looking a ball is the worse(t) it is to play with
I don’t know why the NCAA can’t make some money on a sponsorship deal for an official ball for all games in all divisions. The company/NCAA provides the game balls. The schools can handle buying practice balls. Saves them from having to buy a dozen balls of each brand they could possibly use on the road.
Unless they like having schools have the choice of ball used as part of the home court advantage. Wisconsin can go back to using their Sterling basketball and Michigan can use The Rock again.
Or I guess the school apparel deals cover which balls they use too. Oh well, scratch that idea.
You can finish this sentence with just about anything, and there’s never a great explanation.
I remembered an article I read about the different balls and looked it up. I swear it didn’t feel like I read it 6 years ago. Thought I read it like last year.
Unbelievable that St. John’s survived that 0-14 stretch and is down only two possessions.
Kenny Payne’s contribution to Arkansas’ performance cannot be underestimated
No no
And no…
Shooters know it’s the Spalding Top Flight 1000
Mikasa greatest ball ever. Best grip in the game for some weird reason
But you were a shooter so maybe grip not ideal
I’ve always been a VOIT man myself.
Come on refs swallow the whistle.
St. John’s is shooting 21% and only down 5…that’s pretty dang impressive.
