New Mexico goes 9 minutes with one field goal and still has a halftime lead. It’s a shame we didn’t wait to hire Richard Pitino. That sounds like classic Virginia basketball to me.

Been a tough ass basketball game between Sparty and New Mexico.
Sparty I think just has a couple more dudes at their disposal, they’ve played really good defense on Dent too.

Really hard to say. Evaluation is one thing, but then actually getting the guys you target can sometimes be a different animal. And that might even be more complicated at a school like UVA, with whatever different admissions criteria are self-imposed on the program.
In fairness, there are a lot fewer conferences these days than there used to be.

Iowa State lost a player who was scoring 15 points a game. Huge loss for a team that doesn’t have the talent of an Arkansas or Alabama, that can bring a top 35 kid off the bench to play starter minutes.
