Jay woolfolkâs sister killing us on the hard hedge
Need to bust out the time honored answers: 1) slipping the screen and 2) foul-baiting by driving into the hedgers hip
How many open 3s are we going to give #14?
Smith is playing great, so important to have a way to generate points outside of Mo doing stuff
Not sure Gabby White is athletic enough to play big minutes against some of these teams.
Down 1 at halftime, but good half all things considered. There are some warning signs with them getting real comfortable against our zone, but weâre getting good offense too.
Someone walk me through what happens if we:
Lose today
Win today and get beat R32
Iâm just assuming a 2-0 run would keep Mox another yearâŚ
Mox has already likely done enough to go another year, with making the Dance at all and especially winning a game. Optics of firing her after taking the ânext stepâ are very bad, unless Mox has behind the scenes stuff we donât know about.
You think so? I personally feel like weâve already been pretty generous with her⌠thereâs a lot of talent on the roster to be a play in team now and less than that last year.
I understand the on court product was in a really bad spot and the program had kind of gone to the side before she has hired but thereâs a storied history here and enough resources we should be better.
I do not like our zone (I also donât like zones in general). They are just running their shooter out to the corner and when our low defender goes out to follow her, Woolfolk ends up having deep position in the paint. Itâs just too easy to dial up a specific way to attack the zone and just spam it.
Is the shot clock on the scorebug like 2 seconds behind the actual shot clock?
I like this
I didnât invent it, but I do enjoy browsing the subreddit for scorebug enthusiasts: https://www.reddit.com/r/Scorebug/new/
Georgiaâs defense is no joke.
Two huge threes to get it back down to a 1 pt deficit. 6 minutes left, lock in.
I forgot about the âarena doesnât have ACâ subplot
Typically they donât need AC because itâs so unusual for it to be 85 degrees in March in Iowa. Outside temperature on Monday was 10 degrees. Thursday had a high of 70.
Tomorrow at this time it will be 53 degrees in Iowa City.
That and Carver is BADLY in need of a refresh. It reminds me of UHall.
Up by 7 with 48 seconds left in OT. Kymora at the line.
Looking good.
Very proud of how the ladies have played in this tournament so far.
Oh, hell yea!
