Hell yeah.
I was watching the first half, but I fell asleep. Glad they’re in!
Mo with the clutch shot of all clutchitude!!!
Weimar was huge off the bench as nobody else shot over 40%.
Weimar had 11 points and 12 rebounds in 4/5 shooting
The rest of the team was 17/60 - 28% and 17% from 3 - in a win??? Whoa!
Fewer turnovers and more rebounds than ASU sealed it - 15 offensive rebounds- hoping the men can rebound that way! Or maybe just shoot better?
And Levy with the steal on the last play to win it!!
She’s the X factor
They looked good except for a complete inability to get the ball in the net. I lost count of the number of rim outs and missed bunnies. Their defense shut down ASU for most of three quarters.
Iowa fans around me were all “damn, they are tall, we don’t want to play them”. Hopefully that was their “get adjusted to Carver and shoot like crap” night.
Glad to see the Hoos advance. ASU wasn’t that good but we were slightly less not good. Know nothing about Georgia so tomorrow will be a mystery.
Also, this is me to Reiss right now:

Georgia has a Hoo connection: Jay Woolfolk’s sister Mia is a sophomore forward there and one of their best players.
If the Hoos get blown out, is a change still considered do you think?
In the game thread people questioned Mo taking that 3 early in the shot clock. I think with 40 seconds to play, we were trying a 2 for 1 strategy.
It just occurred to me that, despite the wildly divergent paths the two teams have taken in the last decade or so, the women’s team had only gone one year longer than the men’s team since their last NCAA tournament win. 2018 vs 2019.
