Completely agree. This is why I don’t fear them. That’s 2/3 of their big three, and I think Gardner and Dunn can shut down Slawson. That, combined with Furman’s truly awful defense that I saw possession after possession PLUS the fact they will not run on us and will play at our pace tells me this is a win.
When chatGPT begins its in-the-style-of-CTB answers with, “Well, y’know, everyone’s so sensitive these days, I’m not sure if I can say this anymore…” we’ll have genuine AI.
Ah, I okay, I got it. Redshirting is for you sickos who (1) are somehow unable to properly estimate the amount of pizza you’re able to eat, (2) unable or unwilling to push yourself to past the point of actual hunger to finish your pizza, or (3) worst of all, think cold pizza is good. This actually helps me understand the mindset.
Less than 18 hours

the thought of those first few threes going in for them as we brick our first few and get to the under 16 with 2 points makes me physically ill
Unless you’re a bartender, working St Pats in Savannah is a non-starter. Everybody gets it (even if they pretend they don’t).
This is true most of the time, especially locally. Unfortunately, many of the orgs and funders I work with are out of area and/or state. All of this will catch up with me during this month’s reporting or next month’s audit. But that’s the price of doing business, so UVa and St. Pats win their respective days.
5 hours …

That’s call a business decision and I back it 100%
So right now my only afternoon meeting is at 1:30, so hopefully right around halftime. And it’s a weekly that usually only takes 15-20 mins, so work should only be a minor distraction between 12:40-2:40.
Mine is at 2, so we better put this away in the first half.
Fingers crossed but history isn’t on your side with UVa and 1st round games.
Clemson (#1 seed) and Hokies both going down doesn’t do much for my confidence today. Clemson probably played against one of the weakest teams in the tournament.
I don’t buy the whole “They were disinterested” theory. It’s too easy.
I believe that we will win. Franklin and Gardner are going to go off. Dunn and Reece are going to play shut down D (as always!). Shedrick will have 2 alley oops.
Shedrick or Dunn is going to hit a 3 today. Book it
You guys are making me feel better already. Seriously, I would like to see Kadin hoist a three. As I mention earlier, watched him drain 7 of 8 in warmups for the Louisville game.
Of course, this is not the kind of game where he is likely to even look at the bucket from out there.
This is exactly what CTB is trying to do … break the yips. Get the thinking brain out of it.
