New NCAA Football Overtime Rules

NCAA changes college football overtime rules: 2-point tries required in second OT, then 2-point shootouts

The 2-point shootout is… interesting. May lead to some well debated results.

Thank goodness they solved this problem. I know everyone hates 4OT college football games

Pretty interesting you can either go for 2 or kick for 1. Obviously if the team that goes first misses the 2 then the other team will just kick the point. It definitely seems like there wasn’t that many multiple OT games last year. I’m not sure this really was a problem.

I don’t think it’s a huge issue seems like oncd every 2 or 3 yrs there’s a 4 or 5 OT game but it seems like they are the exception not the norm
