Just shutter the athletic department in that case. Would look like Scott within 2 years. Those weeknight out of conference games would be lucky to get 2500 attendance. Iâll spend time with my family on Saturdays I guess.

I donât see Smith coming here. Can imagine his buyout will be steep as well, and one of the reasons he took the Stanford job is because his son is autistic and Stanford has one of the best autism centers in the country.
Thatâs gonna be a tough sell especially after only one year.

Iâm sure there will be a subset of our donor base who want us to keep the Tony Way and think that Ron just needs to be given a better roster.
But if we finish as weâre projected, aka with a below .500 record and as a bottom four team in the ACC, I donât see how those involved in the decision making process would be able to justify giving him the job.

The Tony Way ended in 2019.
We have players who donât even look to attack the time and shoot unless wide open. Itâs a horrible basketball product. And the better rosters wont come to play for a miserable product.
