I think I favor Odom at the moment but itās fairly easy to imagine that if Pitino had been at the schools Odom has been at, heād have similar if not better results.

Look at where Kentucky and Arkansas are in the SEC standings (two biggest NIL programs). ANd looks where Indiana and Illinois, the two biggest spenders are in the B1G rankings
Coaching > Talent Acquisition. You need both but coaching triumphs at the end of the day

Completely agree. We need an excellent coach who can recruit solidly more than an excellent recruiter who can coach solidly. At least thatās what Iād prefer. I think it works better at UVA especially for number of reasons.

Some bad news for the Pitino fans. First, when I typed Pitino, it autocorrected to Putin. Donāt know what that means, but canāt be a good sign.
Second, apparently my uncle went to sports camp with lil Pitino and said he was not only very spoiled, but a bad athlete. All this considered, itās hard for me to feel excited about hiring him.
