Itâs an epidemic!!
Me, losing my sh** - âESPN!! Itâs a major sports network!â
One time few years ago I was trying to find Virginia basketball vs whoever on my cable Tv. My 4 year old daughter plops down âhey dadda talk to thatâ. Genius there is was a microfone on the remote!
Trying to figure out something:
- Make it / take it
- Score and ball back (Belgian style)
- Winners out (vs loserâs out)
I always called it winners out but there was that other thing where apparently Jersey was weird. Was it automatic QB?
Nope, it was imaginary runners. The rest of you had a bunch of ghosts running the base pathsâŚ
Winners in/losers out is for ânext upâ â âmake it/take itâ is how you get your ass handed to you in a game of 21 when youâre 14.
Huh, winners out meant the same as make it / take it.
We would say winner stays on, or something like that, for your thing,
The best thing about lacrosse is the Faceoff⌠best restart after a score of any sport.
Ha - actually Lacrosse stinks because of that one aspect
Youâll have to expand on that because i like the ability to keep momentum by battling to keep the ball. It isnt make it take it, it isnt a change in possession, you have to tactically have the ability to take the ball back on the restart. People can have other opinions you know.
Facts
Iâve also seen it be the ruin of many rugby teams. Itâs make it take it when you score in 15âs. Imagine the momentum you can build when you get the kickoff every time you score.
The âOutâ was often implied. So, it was just âWinnersâ for make-it-take-it.
âWinners Stayâ for running games.
Get a face off specialist and have his one skill dominate the game ⌠donât have a great one and get dominated.
Isnât that the point in getting dominant specialists in all sports? Weâll have to disagree again.
First time Iâve ever addressed Tu directly, but somebody needs to say it: post the prompt, not the output
