Boiling down coaching to in game and recruiting strips TB of his most valuable skills as a coach: culture and leadership. You donāt build a program with recruits and timeouts, you build it with the soft skills. TB is off the charts in that category.
Thatās not to say talent isnāt important, but talented players come here because of Bennett more often than not. He wants talent but he wants it with people who fit his culture

!00% Culture is EVERYTHING in my opinion. It can take on many different forms, but all great teams or even championship teams have great culture and everyone is bought in.
My motto as a coach has always been give me a team full of guys who are all bought in and like each other over a team of talented mercenaries any day. I can mold that team with culture into a championship contender. Or at least make some great memories along the way.

It wouldnāt shock me to see him test the waters. That might be the reason heās not putting together one of those long, rambling IG posts that ultimately says heās coming back.
I doubt he gets much legit interest, or even a G-league camp invite, but it wouldnāt hurt him to get some feedback and get the official NBA eval.
