He’s healthy if that’s what you mean, got in late. Last 2 games they’ve gone to this look without a center more. Mostly takes away time from Shedrick.
Anyone else notice how much smoother Casey’s jumper looked when he stepped inside the arc and pulled up? Looked so much better than when he shoots spot-ups. I feel like doing more to help him get into the shot in rhythm would help a lot.
Casey on the move > Casey set jumper
Finally caught up on the first half. This looks much more like a TB team on defense: hedges re-routing the ball-handler on pick-and-roll, and the defense executing on the backline to cover the roll and still cover shooters. Hauser has done a solid job, one 3 hit on him when he had a decent close-out, and the other one happening when Huff fell at midcourt.
Offense looks cleaner, though different from what they have been running.
Hubb got away with a pretty clear offensive foul before kicking to Goodwin on that 3…
Does Morsel have more 3s than Hauser tonight?
Tied at 1.
He’s having an awesome game. Just destroyed Hubb at the rim with that block.
Jay can’t commit that foul.
Terrible l around play there by jay
That exchange right there is what I’m talking about. Kihei makes an impossible layup, the get a dunk, then kihei forces another impossible layup and misses and we come out behind.
He really is. Answered the call i like it
Next trip down another force. That is not what we need
No center in. Also first play in this line up is Kihei posting. Does draw the foul but not sure thats what I would depend on…
Would prefer a big in the game with Durham back in. Otherwise we are going to struggle.
Kihei posting is so unlikely to be a good choice that it basically should be a red light for him.
The no-big lineups are fine when Laszewski is the 5, but I agree that Durham really calls for Huff or Shedrick to be in. Though they might be willing to try to see if it works out with making Durham guard a perimeter guy.
And right on cue, Shedrick in.
That’s the most impressive post move I’ve seen from a hoo in yrs
Jay and Casey have to get back on the court. Let’s try he and Kadin together.
