Lol. Sure about that. Two games two career highs for his marks
They have 8 total points outside their two bigs so far. Pretty wild stuff.
A couple of amazing passes from kihei. Thatās what i want to see.
Its hard to play packline and guard the three.
Weāve had several possessions to put this game away. Must have great shots or get to the line
Morsell is the worst-shooting guard I can remember wearing a UVa uniform. Iām sorry to say it, but criticism doesnāt bother him. He keeps on shooting. Tony keeps playing him. So, I can give my opinion, which is all it is, one fanās ignorant opinion.
Back around 1975, UVa had a transfer point guard named Tommy Hicks, from Tulane, who could not shoot, but to his credit, he never took a shot, as far as I can remember.
Kihei had good penetration there but had several open kick out options. Also these refs have an open invitiation to go F&^% themselves.
We are not as good yet as i think you must think we are. I am on my feet clapping and pumped that we might get a win. Just want that win.
When we play against a good big man, we make him look like Dirk Nowitzki. Why is this?
Because our defense at the 4 and 5 is our most glaring weak spot. If Huff gets in foul trouble, it aint good. Thankfully outside UNC not many teams will put two bigs on the floor like tonight. Also Kadin will progress as well
Because our big men have feet as slow as Dirk Nowitzki
Make that 3 good outcomes on 3 Kihei midpost touches.
Several times tonight Jay has helped out when it isnāt needed at all and itās led to a bucket for Durham everytime
Big rebound and three from Sam right there. Ten rebounds too.
One thing we do well is breaking presses.
Clark has played well. I have to hand it to him. 0 turnovers? Wow. And he posts up and demands the ball with his back to the basket. I guess heās about 5-7 170 now: heās put on some muscle. The announcer just said that Clark called for the ball on the low block like Ralph Sampson. ![]()
WaHooWa!
A good win. Room for improvement but progress was made tonight.
As others have said Hauser actually played better tonight on the defense end and rebounding. Still abysmal but improvement none the less.
Biggest positive take away is energy
Sam double double lay off him.
