Gotta give Kihei some love for that performance

Heart and soul of the team. Was outstanding all night.

The kihei post up of cormac McCarthy is not what we want on offense I don’t care if it went in. Impossible shots are not what our program is built on.

I will never fault Kihei for his attitude or energy, regardless of his play. Much needed. Wish someone else would step up but it seems like its going to be him and I have to live with that.

Refs called that game like they’re trying to implement social distancing

I don’t care how you feel about Kehei but if you can’t say he played a hell of a game then we must have been watching 2 different games. He is the heart and soul of this team

Clark certainly made progress. I hope he can play like this. We’re tough to beat when he handles the ball like this. Because of the muscle he’s put on, he has a wide body for his height, and people can’t reach over him and block his shot. I guess people are going to start double-teaming him, so whoever is playing the other guard spot is going to get some open shots.

ACC road wins are gold.

Looking big picture, I predict our best players are going to continue catching flak for their weaknesses; we just don’t have ā€œcompleteā€ players who are solid-to-good at every part of the game. However, that doesn’t mean they can’t combine to do enough to win against quality opposition.

I think the pieces fit together better this game. Casey didn’t shoot it great, but he defended hard and added to a lineup that had plenty of shooting already and not enough defensive will. Sam is going to have a tough time on D at times, but he made shots when we needed it tonight. Jay had foul trouble, but finished everything in sight when he was on the court. Being a fan this season will be an exercise in accepting the imperfections and not letting it blind us to the strengths the team shows.

Shout out to Justin McKoy. Not sure we survive the second half without his play.

Kihei was the man of the game! 19 points on 7-12 shooting, 5 assist, 3 rebounds, 0 turnovers AND I think the man he was guarding Hubb was 1-8 with just 4 points who normally averages 16 points.

That’s the reality I’m accepting. He shouldn’t be the best guy on the court but he’s theninly one stepping up.

If so, would be hard to not put Woldo in more there - hard to see Morsell or Reece being that guy at this point. Love Morsell for his D though!

5 boards 6 pts in like 10 mins. That’s huge

Not a great shooter, but apparently could take one helluva bong hit.

Huge offensive rebound and three to clinch it for Sam. Need more of that.

Hauser was really good tonight. When his shots weren’t falling he was very active on the boards. Hit some huge buckets late

Mr Clark may have played the best game of his career. Was able to take control and still play efficiently.

Mr Huff was elite in the first half. He needs to avoid the dumb fouls so we can use him more. When he’s going he’s our best player on both ends.

Would like to see Mr Murphy get more shots.

Good game from our Hoos.

Notre Dame’s bigs combined for 47 points (follows the trend a la Gonzaga with Timme and Kispert) which was bad but I still cant get over the energy. I loved it. Even the defense chants lol.

Hauser was not really good tonight. It was his best game so far, comprehensively, but he kinda shot like shit. But i think the shit shooting is more of an anomaly and the improved defense is so so so encouraging. I am hopeful he can attain the heights expected of him.
