Hypothetically speaking if we do land Green, I’d love for him to come off the bench and “heat up” opposing guards with full court pressure, kinda like Kihei did at times his first year. He could do it full throttle for 15-20 minutes a game and add another nice wrinkle to what should be a really good defensive team in 2023-2024.

scanning other boards, Xavier thought he was a done deal to them with him moving his commitment up to August and apparently arranging a visit to Xavier this week. Of course the UVA offer changes it but Sean Miller is still going full court press for the close this week.

Man, I will totally get if he goes there because they’ve been involved with him much longer. But also, if you have the choice to play for Tony Bennett or Sean Miller and you choose Sean Miller… I will not fully respect that decision.

My sources (still mostly my dog but with confirmation from a neighborhood stray cat) are telling me power committed to unc today after his meeting with his new financial advisor, and lil peja is dukes backup plan at “power” forward and ours is Trey green but we won’t get him either.

He’s really gotta think about conference prestige and level of play when it comes to his choice. Does he want to go to Xavier and play in the gradually declining Big East, or does he want to come to UVA and play in THE premier college basketball conference that is the SEC.
