Here is another one ..
Louisville has SIX 4 stars and ONE 5 five star on its roster. They are 3-25 in their last 28 games. This according to a Louisville 247 message board …
I guess I’d vote for changing the title of the thread to something like Revisiting Old Transfers or something else. I get the bitterness and have some myself, and I’m not someone that runs around as the board police and looking for 100% politeness and etiquette etc. But this feels a bit much.
Justin was like a teenager then and was dealt a tough hand during a tough year for everyone, and then made some mistakes on the way out as described above (dumb comments, picked the wrong school). I’ve said and done some stupid things myself and would suck if someone turned it into a message board thread a few years later (esp to highlight what a dumb overall life choice I made, which I’m sure he already realizes each and every game). “The Official Vandy-Hoo Made A Bad Decision 2022-23 Tracker” would be super depressing. Like I said, it would the right thing to do to change the title.
I remember when all of our own players were super pissed at the “uncaged” comment. Oh wait they were showing support to McKoy because it wasn’t a big deal. This McKoy obsession is so weird and fragile
Support personally? You in their circles? You think social media is reality?
If you don’t want to talk about McKoy then dont post in the McKoy thread LOL.
Marco Anthony - part of a big win by Utah over Arizona … locked up Arizona’s prolific backcourt.
24 minutes: 6 points, 9 rebounds, 2 assists and a block…
6th year in college …
I’ll post about whatever I want. If you want to keep obsessing over the 11th guy on UNC because of some Instagram post go for it
Was I irked when McKoy went to UNC? Sure. I was irked when Noah Taylor went there too. But you don’t see me (or anyone else) making a LRA thread tracking his stats
Just understand others can operate under this same mentality too lol.
I’d vote to shut this shit down cause of all the useless dissension it’s causing among us.
I fully understand they do. But if I think their opinion is oddly obsessive then I will say so
If “useless dissension” was the standard, we’d have to shut down ALL the threads.
Taylor is 11th on UNC in tackles and has 4 DNP”s
Nah, a lot of the disagreement and dissension here is pretty useful and/or productive. I don’t see any upside with a let’s move on vs let’s pile on dialogue, but that’s just me. There’s no new insight coming from that.
I hate to be everyone’s mom here, but the reason the thread title is bad is because it’s mean spirited. And it’s mean spirited in the context of a certain baseline of mean spiritedness you expect towards rivals (and players who transferred to rivals) on a fan message board. We should try to be nicer. Being human, we will often fail, but it’s good to try.
One of the things I like about LRA is that it’s at least 10% less mean spirited toward players, coaches, and most importantly, each other, than other similar options. Anyway, my thoughts. Worth what you paid for them.
Haney?
My most controversial take yet: “Be nice!” ![]()

I’m not really going to bang my spoon on my high chair over this one, but I’m not a fan of the thread title.
In general, I think we should treat these kids with grace, absent a justifiable reason. Justin did rankle some with his departing comments, and I certainly enjoy more schadenfreude than is healthy at his current situation. But on the whole, he seems like a good kid who has made a couple of mistakes.
I’ll reserve my venom for those who have earned it. See: Allen, Grayson and Dick, Hunter
And just maybe 1 recruit from Mass that kinda played us this summer? Of course have to wait til he is 21 next season to fully stat trak him
I think the emerging theme is: change the title. @HoozGotNext
I mean, people can still post what they want. It’s just a bit much to have a whole thread title devoted to shitting on the kid. I agree with @haney that LRA is above that.
