6pm for scrimmage, it was announced in the press release for football kickoff time announcement.

I’m going up there for the football game and was hoping to make the scrimmage, but 6 might be a little late for us. Does the women’s team play before the men?

If I remember correctly, last year they did the meet the teams, then the women’s, then the men’s. Probably that order to help juice turnout for the women’s.

UVA has also confirmed that due to the uncertainty of the football game kickoff time until now they will be unable to stream the Blue White games.

A question for guys who have attended the Blue/White scrimmage game(s). I understand the ladies will play also, so

  1. Ladies first?
  2. How long do the games last?
  3. Starting at 6:00, when would you expect the men’s game to end?

Lately, about an hour per game. Only short stoppages.

Usually its meet and great in the hallway, then women’s game (like 40 minutes max) and then the mens game which is probably 50- 1 hour run time. If it started at 6, 8:30 is my guess but traffic and whatnot

Gates open at 5

Women’s scrimmage at 6

3 point contest at 6:45

Men’s scrimmage at 7

I am going to assume with this an autograph session will be at like 5:30. Last year it was on the concourse level. But nothing on that has been announced.

I think it just hasn’t been announced. I’m just going off memory here but I don’t think they said a lot about it last year before hand. We didn’t even realize how it was working until we walked in…

In age of NIL I just chalk it up to making it as short/sweet as possible to keep the balance. I think it was only like 15 minutes last year and they were only supposed to sign the posters being handed out.

I would assume so. Even the high schools are starting to do it for some games.
