What was the specific injury? Have they said?

no they haven’t. Light on details it feels compared to when this sort of thing has happened on other teams/nfl, but I guess we have no right to know.

They did say “spinal surgery” earlier, so given the nature of the collision we can pretty much guess the rest.
Would be nice to know the prognosis, but that may still be a developing situation.

Glad to hear a positive update on the young man and that he’s in good spirits. Also, Coach Elliott has done a really, really good job in leading the program through some tough issues that you hope no team ever has to go through. Whatever you think of his job on the football side, he’s excelling on the “life” side.
