So, I saw the women play Thursday night and it was great. Then Friday a friend had an extra ticket and messaged me that afternoon about seeing the men, but I sadly didn’t see it until after I made dinner plans with my wife. I was able to stream about half the game at home but wished I was there.
The football game, I have no regrets about not going to see. I love UVA sports and I completely support the team and players, and I’m even still optimistic about CTE and the future of the program. But, I do not have it in me to watch this transition period play out.
