When dos the portal close? Working out a theory in my head (which probably doesnât make sense) that a tighter window might just move more of the action until after the window closes (schools have more leverage after the window closes)

You may be right, but from a market stand point, if the supply suddenly becomes finite, the price and demand become the variables. Elite prospects could be telling suitors, if not me, who else ya got. Pay me. That said, the European (and South American, Asian, and Mid-East) markets are still there, if not somewhat unknown to us. Was thinking it might prevent Duke Miles type movement, and the preemptive version of that. But I forget the rules to be honest. I canât remember if guys can keep switching if theyâve already been in the portal.

His FG and 3pt% are terrible. He does shoot 71% from the FT line so he will likely improve on those especially on a good team where he doesnt have to be one of the main players on a scout.

Withholding judgement at this point on our portal season. Just hope we donât out-think ourselves for the sake of analytics/ cost per player. Like nobody cares if you win the âMost Financially Efficient Team in the Countryâ award. Pay the guys we really want- even if we donât get everything we need. The âperfectâ is the enemy of the âreally goodâ in this case- I think.

White has been out of high school more than five years. Itâs five years of eligibility or five years from the athleteâs 19th birthday (with some notable exceptions) â whichever comes first.
