I wonder if the idea is to try to get a 4, play TDR at the 3 and Lewis at the 2 to supersize the lineup Ć la Michigan.

TDR and Lewis canāt play the 3 and 2. We need a big 2 (like Able)

They can play the 3 and 2. We primarily play 4 around 1. Once the offense is initiated, all 4 perimeter spots are essentially interchangeable. It just comes down to whether or not they can guard opposing 2 and 3 men. TDR can pretty much guard 2 through 5. Lewis is solid defensively, not spectacular.

Also according to the UCLA mod itās down to 5, subtract Miami and Baylor.
Heās supposedly very focused on academics, professional development off the court, etc. He is from Baltimore, so location works in our favor. I just think itās a match made in heaven. Speaking of which, didnāt HGN back in the day talk about Odom and his recruiting connections in Baltimore from UMBC??

It sounds like weāre being frugal (moneyball kind of thing), so I doubt weāll get him. Weāll probably end up with a Euro or lesser conference/mid-major kind of player.

UNC is returning Bogavac, getting Neo, and Smith kid. If itās between us and them, we have a wide open vacancy at SG. 25-30 mins on a really good team.

Bogavac committed to Oklahoma State. I am not sure who Smith is. UNC is heavily recruiting Paul McNeil, though so that would take them out on Able.

Teams like Michigan, Illinois, UConn are bringing back most of their key players with remaining eligibility, yet still got high-level transfers and incoming freshmen. Itās fantastic that we kept our core group, but the fact that we have zero transfers and zero freshmen at this point is a bit worrisome.

Everyone should go back and look at the forum for the transfer window at this time last year. Most of us (present company included!) were losing our minds. But everything worked out great. And weāre in muuuuuch better standing now. Everythingās going to be OK. Promise!
