Even if everyone in India plays cricket, still can’t find a baseball player there (Kumar Rocker’s a pitcher, so maybe?). And barely any tennis players - couple came through our program a decade ago).

I figure if you are going to support a team, you should actually support it… so the best way to do it is buy season tickets along with your VAF donation. I donate the same amount to the academic (SEAS) side so I don’t feel guilty. Haha!

I’ve been debating cutting my donation some, dropping down to 2 tix, and redistributing the outlay among CLAS and NIL ventures.
Depends on if they let me actually keep 2 tix or if I’ll lose all 4 I guess.

I love it. I maintained 2 football season tickets from 05-15ish despite the fact I knew at best I’d likely only be able to attend the VT game. I only gave up my tickets when I finally became too disillusioned with the program and it’s trajectory. In retrospect I have no idea how I stuck it out through the London era.

In case anyone is interested… this is the JPJ map they use when they call me each year… there is a Scott Stadium one for when they take my money for football as well.
For the record… my last UVa sporting event I went to in person was Bronco’s first game vs Richmond when we lost… I figured I was a curse from that point forward.

My family in Richmond and Fairfax use them… the tickets they don’t use I just give away… I’ve never posted the unused ones on here before, but I can this year.

Nosebleed baseline tickets for me. I just can’t justify buying football.
