PSA: Automated VIP System Sweep

The system updated and did a sweep of the VIP group and removed anyone it perceived as not having an actively paid VIP membership.

After a long day yesterday… the following 3 issues contribute to 95% of all the reasons folks were swept out of VIP due to the check:

Issue 1:

The primary e-mail address on your LRA profile is different than the e-mail address you paid your LRA subscription.

Solution: Change your primary e-mail address to match the one you purchased you VIP membership with and let me know to assure everything is in order to prevent removal in the new monthly sweeps.

Issue 2:

You have been paying for LRA VIP since before 1 September 2023. This is when the pay system was changed from Stripe to Shopify.

Solution: Please let me know as the system sweep only checks Shopify. We will put you in a protected state so you will not get swept out on the monthly checks.

Issue 3:

Your credit card expired and payments are not going through anymore without your knowledge OR you or someone in your family cancelled your subscription and you forgot.

Solution: Please update your credit card information and resubscribe.

I can’t access VIP. It says I’m signed into my account and I can see my customized forum, but if I click on a VIP thread, it takes me to the sign in page for VIP.

Mine is doing the same as posted above^
I also went and resubbed, paid, and it’s still not coming up.

I’ve been a VIP member since the beginning and I’m having the same problem. Please help @jazznutUVA I’m like an addict that can’t get their morning hit.

Not totally sure where to put this: anyone else having trouble accessing the VIP board?? I’ve always been able to open it and now this morning it’s asking me to sub again, I did, but it’s still not coming up.

Same issue. For some reason, it said my membership was cancelled, even though I don’t recall ever cancelling. Then I hit resubscribe, but I still get blocked by the subscribe page.
