I was wondering something. I know the coastal winner goes to the Orange Bowl, but what is the criteria for the other team?

I think it is basically the highest ranked SEC team that is not chosen for CFP. Meaning, Orange gets first pick of SEC after CFP.
So lets assume LSU is only SEC in CFP, Orange could pick between UGa or Bama
Not exactly an ideal opponent.
Lets be honest there is ZERO downside beating VT on Fri, but if we do our reward will be Clemson then either Bama or Georgia………….
