TWSS for the win.
You are elite at putting the seldomly used dishes away in the top shelf of the kitchen cabinet though. That’s a skill my man.
Ha ha
I once thought I was a D1 hoopster until Othell took me to school lol
You were in good company. Othell took a lot of guys to school. Great player and a great guy.
Jeff Jones always says Othell was the best athlete ever to play at UVa
He was a stud who could have played football. Agree Hav he was a great dude, very humble and always had a smile on his faceN
Probably bad data. I’ve heard height can vary by up to an inch over the course of the day or something like that. But his hand width being nearly an inch different??? Not sure about that one
Very typical. All players get rounded up 2 inches in the program material. It’s like I am saying about Saunders. He is 6-6, not 6-8. But same applies to everyone.
FYI he was comparing the combine height and measurements from last year v. this year.
Is that one similar to what they do at the NFL combine? I remember some of the QBs doing hand exercises to measure better.
Saunders is listed at 6’8 per his SDSU page so this isn’t UVA rounding up his height. I do love your commitment to your stance on him only being 6’6 though. Need the coaches / players softball game photo for reference
I think he’s probably right, but that’s what every program in the country is doing so it doesn’t even matter.
From 4 tu 6?
As Dale Brown famously replied when asked if the listed heights were with or without shoes: “I would not send my young men onto the court without shoes.”
Hey! I saw that Reece graduated and walked the lawn, that’s pretty awesome. He graduated, made the tourney, seemed to make some NIL bank, and seems well placed to hopefully grab a 2-way contract. All in all, I’m really glad he came back.
And repeated as ACC DPOY. And became the all-time program steals leader!
That record is gonna stand for a looooooong while.
And in only 4 years - no asterisks
anyone have a read on whether Reece gets drafted?
I just watched this and it hurt my heart. I thought he was great this season - actually really great considering what we had and how the season played out. Definitely no worse than I would have forecasted last summer, but he seems to have fallen quite a bit in people’s perceptions.
