Before this takes on a life of itâs own, where did Odom say the BW game would be streamed? I thought I had listened to every one of his interviews (including the donor zoom) and I hadnât heard it mentioned. But now everyone on this board seems to know it as fact.

90k is pretty standard from what Iâve seen. I wonder why some get slightly more and some get slightly less lol.
But yea actually schedule 2 and 1s with JMU, GW, etc. and they probably wonât make you pay them, more money for rev share. But I get they want the guaranteed home wins.
I would assume distance and travel costs.

Give me our arch recruiting rival Clemson as our second home and home. I hope they donât do it off of last yearâs standings, now that I think weâll be good I want an extra Q1/Q2

I think itâs actually not a bad strategy (as long as we end up adding some real games later) that the bad teams you play be REALLY bad. Committee isnât going to give you a lot of credit for beating the #185 vs #330 team, but youâre probably 8-10x as likely to lose to 185. The gap between the bottom of D1 (SWAC/MEAC/NEC) and your normal mid-major is probably bigger than mid-major to high-major

As long as you beat them by a lot and your efficiencies are good, I think you are correct.

I recall something about Odom streaming the blue/white game posted as a joke early after he was announced coach. Like a way to distinguish himself from Tony. He didnât actually say anything like that as I recall. Someone else know the origin?

That was my recollection. With a new coach, it might not even be 100% there will still be a BW scrimmage? I assume there will be, but they might take the chance to completely overhaul what they do.

Looks like VCU had the same thing, the Black and Gold game. No mention of streaming as far as I can find. But smaller market, maybe will change here.

The difference between UVA and VCU in this regard is we have the ACC network who will air it for us, they love that kind of off-season content, whereas VCU wouldâve just had to stream it on YouTube or maybe WRIC.
