He seems solid to me, well-rounded offensively. Defensive metrics look bad… but Toledo played very small lineups with Lewis at the 4 and a wing-forward type in Javan Simmons at the 5. Just no rim protection or rebounding in those kinds of lineups.
Warley was very quiet, right?
Yeah Toledo as a team was really, really bad defensively which is gonna hurt individual metrics. Obviously Lewis was part of that team so can’t at least say he wasn’t part of the problem but I feel like there’s still an opportunity for him to be much better on that end.
He was the guy who Buzz Williams left in the cold for the Maryland job for lol. Hope this means 40 ball vs Maryland
Third slide is his highlights vs Michigan

I think a really important thing to note is how quiet this recruitment was, didn’t really get much of an inkling from anywhere that we were leading/about to get this guy. Could bode well for a couple more transfers popping soon if this is how Odom and staff want to operate, might be farther along with guys we didn’t even know were serious targets.
Real G’s move in silence like lasagna.
Amazing how much better I feel all of a sudden lol
I wouldn’t mind never having to read this phrase again
Real G’s move in silence like benign? They do it by design? So they can reign over the game?
Yep
Real Gs are loud like a gangsta. Well, the first one. Not so much the second one.
Miya’s portal ranking. as others have noted Toledo’s defense did him no favors. Rankings aren’t super bullish on his offense either, despite having pretty great true shooting. 368 ain’t bad, but probably not all ACC either.
Lewis looks like he can play the 3 with Gertrude and Mallory in the backcourt. That’s a nice looking perimeter on paper. Welcome, Mr. Lewis!
Do people find this bit the least bit funny? Seriously asking
Thats where we hope player development and coaching come in. Which is still a thing
3 down, 10 more to go. On our way!
It is not supposed to be FUNNY.
All the people who matter do, yes.
