He looks good. The league he was in afforded him plenty of space for all those threes. Hope he will be able to make the jump to ACC defenses in his face. Cautiously optimistic.

Probably early to look at lineups/rotations until 4 or 5 more pieces are in place, but a 6’6 shooter fits in anywhere. Nice Saturday surprise!

I saw that…is it team defense weighing it down? If so, stupid. I get that defense is hard to place a value on statistically and I guess you have to do it somehow if you’re going to play that game but yeah don’t care. Tools are fine, will need to adjust to a culture that cares more about it but unless I’m missing something (some sort of deeper analysis), faulty system.

Defense is just very hard as an individual metric. The DBPR is pretty noisy for individual players. So yeah, some of it is the team. Not everything though. He is an ok rebounder, not great. Doesn’t make a lot of steals or blocks.
