At some point this year, I’ll be arguing for Taine to get more minutes, but his SEASON-LONG STATS will have ben wrecked by tonight, and I’ll look like an idiot.
i’m shocked that Taine’s extensive practice experience of never ever never playing against a matchup zone didn’t prepare him well for playing against a matchup zone.
Less snarky for those of who prefer a little less “was Haney correct all along? Of course” takes with your cornflakes:
Taine is a one move and go kind of player. He’s good at that and should stick to it. He should leave “dribbling into the teeth of a set defense” to the one actual PG on our roster.
Watching 10 be so effective in transition just hurts my heart for him … imagine him in an open style of play where he has freedom
To get to the hoop… it also hurt my heart for Reece.
All I want to see the rest of the way is Taine getting 30 minutes and 10 shots per game. Let that man loose, I can cheer for that regardless of results.
I just want to put it out there that there have been two times we have beaten a top 5 Duke team. The 2013 NIT team and the 2022 NIT team (on the road)…
Taine 40 pt game upset over Cooper Flagg incoming. Tell them they have nothing to lose fuck it and drop bombs like a mid Major playing UVA in march
