I donāt necessarily disagree with any of that sentiment but also, college hoops is still super fun, itās still played in front of screaming college kids, in locales where you personally might have some sentimental affiliation, and the tourney is the best sporting event ever.
Iād like to see more guardrails, especially around player movement, totally. But college hoops is still super awesome and Iām not joining the Emo club.

Yeah, I canāt say that I have any particular attachment to the amateurism model or the underlying motivations of the athletes. To me, college sports are the closest thing that we have to futbol clubs in the UK, where (in the best cases) the club can almost become an extension of a town. I love seeing players around Cāville and having random connections to the program just because I know someone who knows someone.

I thought Ron did well in the press conference; had solid, thoughtful answers. Nothing too exciting and certainly no ācheerleadingā. I guess thatās his personality. Iām still skeptical that this works but will give him my support.

- Doesnāt mention Saunders
- Doesnāt mention Sanchezās ability to identify talent at Charlotte (and subsequently lose it to the portal, which I think explains a fair bit of the never trajectory)

Yeah, I wouldnāt wish the Sanchize nickname on anyone after what its first namesake did with the Jets. Although he smoked our asses in the hottest football game in Scott Stadium history (before Pistol Pete smoked something else).
Space and journey are to Sanchez what continuous and significant were to Bennett, only multiplied.
