Itās precedent for them approving the medical RS waiver for a guy playing after 12/31, which I had believed to be where they were going to draw the line. Obviously this isnāt news as it was approved months ago so if weāre feeling pessimistic now, thereās probably a good reason. But it does make me think there might be a path, especially upon appeal.

The thing with Thomas is, even if heās cleared a month from now, thereās no guarantee it wonāt be a new competitive recruitment. Youāll have all these teams with the extra money leftover that was tagged for players they missed out on.

He was my favorite of the initial all guard wave, but between double de-commits in the same cycle and the dad arguing with people on Twitter on like day one, I think we let someone else take him. I like our guards well enough and would rather commit the minutes and money elsewhere.
