Both Jaydon Young and Baby Pump in the portal for hokies big oof.
I know we probably shouldnāt look at Jaydon Young, but he finally had games at the end of last season where you were reminded of the chatter of him being a possible 5 star and blue blood interest before the very unfortunate string of multiple injuries that have plagued him into college.
Baby pump I think would kill it at a mid Major like Liberty or a lower end power 5 that might be more resourced.
Also increases the Likelihood of Tobi Lawal entering soon.

Both Young and Rechsteiner should transfer down a level, Young would be good at a place like VCU or GMU. Rechsteiner is actually a decent defender, he just hasnāt shot the ball well at all.
Actually just looked at Rechsteinerās defensive numbers and heās not even good at that, so idk.

Will get overpaid but no idea how he will look after his injuries.
Somehow heās a class of 2021 guy, so it will just be a normal-ish medical redshirt senior season for him next year.

Just from watching him Iām not sure heās athletic enough for high major ball or at the very least for what Odom typically wants out of his guards. Reminds me of a less twitchy Sharma, the shooting numbers are a lot better though tbf.

I recall chatting with a few other people who know him better a few months ago on the discord and they all agreed heās an A10 player
Look at how he finished the year. Was on a tear down the stretch. Wouldnāt hate a flyer on this kid if he was one of the last scholarships used.
Hopkins pulled a Bliss on @JoeBoxleyās Friars, was supposed to return but didnāt feel up to itā¦injury became a medical redshirt and a year of remaining eligibility to head to the portal with.

Besides Chance, are there any HS guys that could open up based on coaching carousel that weād look at? I know Mike White has been shopping his resume. He seems like someone Oklahoma would hire if Moser goes to Nova. Maybe Wilkins comes back to us if we retain Zay?
