Kaleb Banks to DePaul (who werenât even in that graphic yesterday).
Holtman apparently got some cash to build the roster and was able to keep 3 of his core players from entering the portal. But I will never be able to accept the possibility that DePaul could be good.

Big fan of this guy. Strong, good shooter, coming from Drew Valentineâs Loyola Chicago squad so you know heâs gonna be tough and in the Izzo guard mold. Maybe Odom uses his A-10 connections here (though Dawson played like shit in both of his games against VCU this season so who knows lol).

There is a LOT of talent still in the portal and much more to come.
But I still am of the opinion that it is going to take an overpay or two to get the first few on board to build around and entice others to join.

Thereâs also still a lot of talent being added to the portal⌠hell Davidson on Sunday was a top 10 guy most services had him in the 30âs range today.
But that talent is going to be more competitive to get. We need to pay upfront a lot more for a big hit and then let the rest fall into place.
Also its not about portal ranking its about fit. Davidson is a huge loss because he fits really well with what Odom wants. While giving us a solid veteran in the front court.
If you remember in football, we signed a guy that was in the final four but of course we had to wait until after it was overâŚ.
