Lewis and TDR probably just got into it once or twice in practice (which happens on every team) and someone told Tugard who twisted it into āthey hate each otherā. You donāt have to be besties to play well together and respect each othersā game. Sam and TDR certainly play well together and both know it. They high five and hype each other up like anyone else on the team.

Teammates holding each other accountable is the best kind of growth. It doesnāt always go well in the moment, but when success follows, all is forgiven.
No idea if thatās what happened but TDR strikes me as a mostly no-nonsense practitioner of basketball.
I have no idea why anyone gets worried about anything that man says. He is the worst kind of troll ā loves attention of any kind and knows that negativity sells, so he constantly posts cryptic shit that will get people worrying that he can point to later to pretend to guru status.

I donāt disagree. I was making a more general statement and also drawing off of TDRās comments about some guys being unprepared for Dukeās physicality in the first game. He didnāt say who, but Lewis and Thomas had a combined 2 points. And both of those guys came fired up for the ACCT final.

During the Duke game, I had a thought for the first time that Lewis could actually attract NBA interest this year. Hopefully not too much but I donāt see why he wouldnāt be a very good NBA player. Heās worth overpaying to retain IMO. We can find more shooters but heās a pretty complete offensive player, much more so than we assumed coming into the year.

Lewis lacks playmaking ability in the half-court. I think he needs to develop that significantly to become an NBA player.
Also, Iām a lot lower on Lewis than most on this board for that reason (I still think heās a very good player and would like to keep him for next year). My concern is that some coaching staff will convince themselves heās a star and overpay in the portal
