I think the patriot league piece really came down to not a great shooter in high school and immediate impact but EYBL level PG with good size and talent.
Heāll be in the P5 next year. Could definitely see Big East being in play.

Before I read your comment I was thinking this exact thing! My South Sudanese brothers are always very tall and long, but also skinny and difficult to put on a lot of weight.
If he couldnāt put on weight I would take him if he was a stretch or defensive 4 who may serve as a more mobile Ugo defensively (although I donāt think Ugo is immobile).

Yeah heās not good enough. Counting stats and 3P% are good, but 2P% is bad, TO rate is bad, and heās -5.3 in RAPM (bad!)

Agreed. Think we owe Odom the benefit of the doubt this offseason with roster decisions btw. reading back through old threads from last offseason and we gave him a lot of hell for not bringing over Bamgboye and Robinson, and didnāt really understand paying so much for Onyenso.

We were one of the schools that reached out last year. Wasnāt as bad defensively this year. Maybe we can sell him on improvements by Sam in that area.
Not sure if he and Sam would be playable together.
Yeah he nailed that decision. Honestly itās hard to critique any of the decisions he made.
