Louisville loss to Wake would effectively kill the 2 bid ACC I think (outside of a bid thief scenario where an 11-1/12-0 Miami loses in the ACC title)

ACC as 2-bid league = killed.

That was a worse loss than us to WV, right? I’d like to think its worse.

Edit - I guess Pitt or Clemson might turn out to be a lot better than we think at this point (like Bama last year), but it feels pretty unlikely for either. Pitt absolutely hammering VT next week would be a nice start for that. SMU really needed to beat Louisville.

Right. I suppose in theory Duke/Pitt/VT could get an at-large at 12-1, but that would require them beating Miami in the regular season. Seems like Miami is the only one that realistically could get an at-large.

The Wake result doesn’t surprise me. Wake gave Miami a pretty good game last week and could have made it a one-score game but for a number of dumb penalties. They are going to be one of the tougher games left on our schedule.
