Transfer Portal

As Tony says, I’d have to look at the film to be sure. But I thought our perimeter defense was pretty good, actually. Kihei on Lofton was particularly effective. That’s why Lofton kept pushing him off – he was getting pissed. I think what hurt us was the hedging on screens, especially with Caffaro – lots of indecision about how much to hedge and when to recover, and that gave the St. Bonny guards an opening to get into the paint. I think that’s what happened on the final play.

The last two three-pointers St. Bonny hit were absolute prayers against good contests.

ALL-SWAC first team, and SWAC defensive player of the year Jayveous McKinnis is in the transfer portal.

The 6’7” junior forward averaged 12.4 ppg, 10.3 rebounds, and 3 blocks per game.

Think you are right. I rewatched some condensed shit so am sure it was more highlights but their very good guards seemed to get where they wanted a lot

Colorado State’s Dischon Thomas just entered the transfer portal.

The 6’9” junior forward started 29 out of 31 games for the rams. Averaged 5.7 points, and 4 rebounds per game.

Briefly went on verbal commits, wow, just the number of new entries today. Nuts.

This guy is super intriguing, SWAC defensive player of the year. Prob go by Big 12

6’7 center with no 3pt shot but damn 3 blocks and 10 rebounds a game? Could be our Theo John

Thomas had 15 points against Michigan in the first round of the NCAA tournament. Hit five 3 pointers against the wolverines, and shot 41% from 3 for the season.

Colorado State’s Dischon Thomas just entered the transfer portal.

Ironically Kyle actually did blow by several people and was able to make layups, get some rebounds, and make a few floaters that I thought would get swatted. He was just a GAMER all around, and still is.

I know there was previous baggage/ 3 HS and now possibly 3 colleges but this recent transfer was cause of a coaching change/he’s a changed man Tony

My contribution on names in the Portal: Dain Dainja. Far and away the best name. I think he’s already committed, but that White Spot NIL money (NIL burger) might lure him.

Also, is his middle name Danger? Dain Danger Dainja

This website is interesting. More effort in terms of ranking available transfers than I’ve seen most places. Just reposting here again as we’re getting more names dropping in:

Sounds weird but Richard is oddly decisive in a kind of cool way. Makes a quick decision, executes decision, goes back on D lol

31.6% from three for Will Richard isn’t the most exciting… I don’t know.

on heavy volume. 40+ made 3s.

I was saying this yesterday. And > 95% were assisted 3s.

I said this earlier, but 60% from 2 is very very exciting, especially as a wing player. And just that 39% of his shots were in the “Close 2” category on Bart Torvik’s website is positive to me; I think there’s value in a perimeter player that can provide real rim pressure.

The last possession is situations where I think CTB needs to allow the players to switch. Especially with a guy like Shedrick because of his length.
