Good way to describe the season
Kihei is having and trying to do so much. They looked better but in the end the TO’s killed them. It would have been a good steal on the road.

That game was a lot of wasted energy for everyone involved with UVA

You can go back and find a lot of little plays that made the difference. 18 turnovers and 10 offense rebounds allowed. It’s un-Bennett like, yet it’s been consistent this year. Kihei committed 9 turnovers. I love the guy. They’re terrible without him. But that can’t happen. A lot of it is the total lack of playmakers. He’s forced to try to do things that he’s not capable of. So many late clock possessions that go nowhere ending in his hands.
On the good side, they competed hard. I’m sure a lot of you expected the score to be a lot worse. I did.

Kihei has to do so much to generate offense for this group. It’s a fine line but he simply HAS to value the ball more.

The turnovers are killer and I’m not sure there’s anothet option. Clark is doing a lot he’s taking on a lot but in the end he is the starting pg and he needs to make pg plays. I lecel similar criticism with Diakite it took a CTB tongue lashing to get him dialed in.
Overall i sense a lack of unity between all the guys missed assignments off timing etc. In these tight games that lack of togetherness is huge

It was definitely a winnable game. I question some of the plays down the end of the game .No way do I let Woldentase bring the ball up the court. He scares me every time he starts handling the ball. If I am right Florida State could almost run the clock out on their last possession. Make them beat you at the foul line. On the other hand that was a very costly foul called on Clark. If the ref didn’t see that guy pull him then common sense should tell you that Kehei cant push that big guy out of the way.

Yeah I’m with you on the lack of unity. I don’t consider that an insult to their character or anything. More a product of a lot of guys that still don’t know what their roles are because no one has earned them. Some are out there trying too hard to make an impact, others too scared of making mistakes. End result is a group of players that don’t necessarily trust the guy next to him to do his job.
