Random observation: Notre Dame might have the oldest scorer’s table in the NCAA.
Whats frustrating isnt that we are losing. Im okay with being a middle of the pack NIT team. It’s that we aren’t developing a lot of our younger players with ingame experience. We are playing Kihei 40 minutes a game with caffarro and Kody for poor results anyways. We watched Taine grow in one game in Iowa when he was allowed to be baptized by the fire so to speak.

I really just want to see this team generate stops and play soundly at this point.
Forgot igor in my lineup which he might pair really well with Kadin.
Reece, Aminu Mohammed, Taine, Igor, Kadin. London Johnson and Trey Kaufman first off the bench with Traudt McKneely and Dunn getting 15 minutes each.
Im just venting now and I do apologize for the negativity.
But if we wanted to win now, then use those 3 open spots. If we wanted to keep roster close and happy/grow then play the young guys. We are getting the worst of both worlds

It used to be our defense was so good, building that small 8-10 point lead felt completely oppressive to the other team.
This year, our offense is so bad, the inverse is true. We get down in a game, and I just can’t see any way back.
(Which isn’t to say it’s impossible, just that I get to feeling pretty hopeless. Not a fun way to watch.)

I honestly think that the defense has been a bigger issue.
We’re ranked lower on offense still I think, but the going from an elite to mediocre defense in two years kills our identity.
