ODU is pretty bad but we’re doing a good job of allowing them to continue to make mistakes.

Arrington all of the sudden can’t find the plate. Walks a .196 hitter on 4 straight pitches, then a .265 hitter on 5 pitches. The hook has arrived and Matthew Buchanan comes in to relieve.
LMAO I feel kinda bad for ODU on that one. Just awful luck.

Incredible double play! Our SS gets glove on a hard liner up the middle that allows him to toss to second for one, then the second baseman guns down the runner going to third for the second out. Good thing because ODU’s next batter singles to right putting runners on the corners. Buchanan then strikes out the next batter to end the inning. Headed to the bottom of the 5th, Hoos up 7-1.

The runner had zero reason to take off from 2nd, he turned a fielder’s choice into a super easy double play. Really bad awareness on his part.

Nah not stealing my thunder at all, you’re completely fine to keep doing it if you want. Am happy to do PBP when necessary but also happy for anyone else to step in when needed.
Also you’re bringing us some pretty good luck rn, my juju has been pretty bad this season lol.

No damage in top of 6th as Markus comes on to get the last 2 outs. ODU on about their 5th pitcher, I think, headed to face Nunnallee. Nunnallee is now 0-0 as he gets his 3rd walk to go with a HBP.

After Hanson lines out to second, Teel draws a walk. Runners on 1st and 2nd, one out. Runners move up to 3rd and 2nd on catcher indifference. Next batter strikes out. It’s up to Ford to get me home early. Oh well, Ford strikes out.

Arroyo brought on to get some work. Didn’t see him warm up, as usual. Gets one, then 2 seeing-eye singles and a walk load the bases. Next batter KOs. Then he walks in a run. 10-2 Hoos. Single to left scores another. 10-3 Hoos. New pitcher coming on, Drew Koenen.

Hoos crapping their pants now. Koenen walks home 2 more runs, bases still loaded with 2 outs and 10-5 Hoos.
We dicked around again putting Arroyo in to pitch without him warming up first and are now reaping the consequences.
I really, really hope this is the last time we do that.
