Not jinxing anything with our pitching staff. Still got a lot of game left, need to keep piling the runs on.
Top of the 2nd, McKay on the mound for the HOOS. 2B Alex Madera to lead off for UNC.
- Madera on a full count draws a walk. One on and nobody down for SS Colby Wilkerson.
- Wilkerson walks. Can’t have this. Two on and nobody down for Honeycutt.
- Barker and Hungate both getting warm in the pen for UVA.
- Mound visit for UVA, BOC out for a chat. Pitching change incoming. RHP Chase Hungate takes over on the mound for the HOOS.
- Honeycutt lines out to Whalen in deep CF. Madera tags up to 3rd, runners on the corners and one down for Cook.
- Cook grounds a base hit into RF. Madera scores, 6-3 HOOS. Two on and one down for Harber.
- Harber lines a base hit into LF. Wilkerson didn’t get a great read and holds at 3rd, bases loaded and one down for Donofrio.
- Donofrio on the next pitch grounds out to Ford at 1st unassisted. Wilkerson scores, 6-4 HOOS. 2nd and 3rd with two down for Osuna.
- Osuna hits a slow grounder to Hanson at 3rd who charges in and makes the throw for the out. That ends the frame.

Bottom of the 2nd, Boaz still on the mound for UNC. GOF to lead off for the HOOS.
- GOF hits a sinking liner down the RF line. Donofrio is able to make a sliding catch on the run for the out. One down for Whalen.
- Whalen hits a liner into the gap in RCF. Honeycutt, one of the fastest players in the country, gets on his horse and makes a diving catch for the out. Great play ngl. Two down for Saucke.

Top of the 3rd, Hungate still on the mound for the HOOS. Stevenson to lead off for UNC.
- Stevenson flies out to Didawick in shallow LF. One down for Gallaher.
- Gallaher on a full count draws a walk. 3-2 pitch was a strike. One on and one down for Madera.
- Madera hits a chopper to Ford on the right side of the infield. He struggles to get the ball out of the glove, flips to Hungate at 1st but Chase can’t touch the bag in time. Madera is safe, two on and one down for Wilkerson.
- Wilkerson rips a liner into the RCF gap. Both runners score, game tied at 6. Wilkerson ends up with a triple, runner on 3rd and one down for Honeycutt.
- Honeycutt K’s (1) swinging on three pitches. Runner on 3rd and two down for Cook.
- Cook lines a base hit off the end of the bat into LF. Wilkerson scores, UNC retakes the lead 7-6. One on and two down for Harber.

- There’s gonna be a review to see if Becker missed 1st on his way around the bases. Would be very UVA this season if he didn’t.
- On replay he clearly touched the bag. Wouldn’t be surprised if Forbes asked for that review to get extra time to warm an arm in the pen.

If you check their stats, Wilkerson has had a REALLY rough year at SS. 14 errors in 29 games.

- Gallaher K’s (5) on a check swing to end the frame and Barker is fired up. He should be, some crucial clean innings from him.

Bottom of the 6th, Matthjis still on the mound for UNC. Ford to lead off for the HOOS.
- HAVE A NIGHT HENRY FORD. He TOMAHAWKS a solo bomb that ends up into the LCF clubhouse. His 9th of the season and 2nd of the game ties this one at 11.
