Hate being negative or that person, but this pitching staff is so bad. Is this pitching coach fault or what? This offseason we better be in the portal and hopefully cut some of these guys!
It’s partially DD’s fault, yes. The injuries he has little to no control over and they have definitely factored into our struggles, but also there’s enough talent available on this staff to have more success than we’re currently having. Guys like Jaxel and Woolfolk have not taken the steps they needed to, in fact they’ve regressed from last season.
Nobody will get cut lol, some will likely transfer after having talks with BOC about their roles going into next year. We’ll get some guys from the transfer portal but there’s a cap to who you can get from there, high quality arms drive up a very hefty NIL price that we likely won’t be able to touch. Need to bring high level prospects in from HS and hope they pan out in terms of development.

They’re like the football team a couple seasons ago with the best passing offense in the country and possibly the worst defense in school history. No lead was ever safe, either way.
You’re a better man than me… I switched to nephews game on game changer when I saw BB coming in… they’re playing in the Cal Ripken Experience this weekend so it’s actually pretty cool ha
We gave up 25 hits today and had a whole bunch of errors in the field. Just bad, bad baseball.
Will see a fairly steep drop in the rankings after going 2-3 this week. Probably knocks us out of hosting range for the time being but still tons of time to correct that. Pitching and defense have to be better though, this level of ineffectiveness is just straight unacceptable for a program of our caliber.
It’s really close between the two. I lean slightly towards Hanson’s bat over Becker’s but there isn’t a definitive answer.
Becker is better at 3B than he is at 2B but he had his struggles at 3B too.
Hanson really has to defer to GOF more out there. Even when he doesn’t take the play from GOF he cuts in front of his field of vision much too often for my liking.
Really wish we were getting Caleb Bonemer next year. That would help solve some problems. Ugh.
