We will play the winner of ND/BC in the second round.
It’s already been announced that Woolfolk will be our starting pitcher on Wednesday.
All-ACC selections are out.
Ford and Godbout made 2nd Team, Becker/Teel/Ference made 3rd Team, Valincius made All-Freshman Team. No 1st Teamers.

I don’t know why, but when they announced that the tournament would be a 16 team single elimination, I was envisioning a straight bracket with no byes, but I guess playing 8 games in 1 day to get from 16 to 8 is logistically very difficult.
ND BC isn’t starting until 10:30… just so everyone is prepared for how tomorrow night is going to go lol

So far so good, tie game bw BC and ND in the top of 7–would be truly sad to see them battle it out in extra innings.
In other news I got to see Kyle Teel play for the Charlotte Knights earlier tonight–he went 1 for 3 with a walk. Threw one runner out on steal attempt but had an unfortunate error (I felt that the error should have been charged to 5 as he waited way too long to toss to Kyle on a run down, would have forced a point blank catch and tag).

Carson Tinney (ND catcher and probably their best player) makes great play to save a run but gets hit really hard by sliding baserunner. Hope he is ok–looked bad.

BC beats ND 5-4 in 10. We will play the Eagles tomorrow 9 PM EST.
Boston College beat us 2/3 earlier this season, so would be nice to get some revenge for that.
