⚾ UVA Baseball Game Thread 29-30 April (VCU, Navy)

Next batter K’s swinging on three pitches. Two on, two down. Just need one more out.

9-8 HOOS, base hit scores one. Runners on the corners and two down now for VCU.

Lanzendorfer gets another K swinging to THANKFULLY end things. We fucked around but did not find out.

I was at the game. Been to about 8 or so of our home games. Sorry, my fellow UVA fans but we’re not a tournament team. I’ve kept hoping we’d turn it around but we’re just a good-to-average team. I’ll be back at Disharoon tomorrow though rooting us on vs Navy. Go Hoos! Edit: Navy game moved up to 3 p.m.

Arroyo gets the start on the bump. Should be all hands on deck today.

Still 4-1 HOOS in the bottom of the 7th, bats have been fairly quiet today so far.

Nice pitching by the Hoos today. They threw strikes. Lots of contact by Navy batters but for outs. I think that sometimes our pitchers try to get too cute and are afraid of the batters making contact.
