Ah, grant me the prescience you have about group message board behavior, wise sage.
Lol man there’s an ignore button if you want it. Really easy to find
Redacted
May point is that this board really likes to overreact to what a player says as he commits somewhere else. It’s actually playing out now. You’ve called him a bitch. I’ve seen another poster call him a pussy. Real Rupp Rafters behavior
Kadin’s at Texas? Cool.
Kadin to Goodman, re: UVa….
LeBradin Shedrick?
I certainly am not an insider to the program, but it sure seems like Mr. Williford hasn’t been tearing it up. My basis: 1) Mr. Shedrick perceiving that he’s been mistreated (with stats seeming to back him up), 2) Master Traudt leaving providing no benefit to the program, outside a green team body, 3) Mr. Shedrick and Mr. Cáffaro leaving without having seeming to have developed much game during their 4 and 5 year tenures, respectively, and 4) not having made much hay on the recruiting trail (Mr. Morsell is his only recent signee, right?).
The buck stops at Mr. Bennett, but I wonder if he is getting much assistance from his assistant.
Trey Murphy and Vandross led but Williford was also heavily involved in Gertrude. (DaRon Holmes what could have been lol). Blue Cain and Jarin Stevenson would be huge Williford wins though. Williford tends to be the guy leading for the heavy hitters.
Caffaro also had immense injury history and Kadin was developed fine before the controversy and that’s with missing due to Mono and other health stuff in years past.
Still waiting for the predicted message board meltdown
I didn’t see Kadin’s interview and I have no desire to see it. I just don’t care. He’s a kid who didn’t enjoy where he was and so he went and found a place where he thinks he’ll be happier. I can’t imagine being mad at someone for doing that. I think everyone should go where they’ll be happy.
My sons play college baseball and they’ve experienced both sides of the coin. It’s never as simple as people want to make it seem. Rarely can you lay the blame entirely at the feet of the player or the coach or the school or whatever. Usually, it’s just a bad fit. It happens. That’s life.
I rooted for Kadin while he was here. I won’t think about him much now that he’s gone.
Shedrick and his camp have spent the past month trying to torch UVA to anyone who will listen.
Meanwhile, CTB and staff have taken the Don Draper approach.
Kadin’s “story” reminds me of a teenager that lost all his hours at his job. He claims the boss is mean and picked on him for no reason. Meanwhile you find out from the boss he wouldn’t do what he was asked, had a bad attitude and was a mediocre at best employee. This is an age old story. Also I don’t think anybody seriously believes Kadin over CTB out there anyway.
Scroll up…I can think of at least one poster that thinks this is all on Tony. But yea, generally most level headed people think Kadin is not taking responsibility for his own actions in letting the situation get to this point. I’m sure Tony is not without fault but the shots on the way out do nothing but make me believe we’re better off without Kadin.
In addition, Traudt’s dad’s social media note reinforces that Kadin may have had some sour apple tendencies. Undoubtedly the story of what happened is complicated. But from a team chemistry standpoint moving forward, it sure looks like the breakup is for the best.
Hmmm- Traudt’s dad was commenting on it? That’s interesting because did that make for a negative environment for Traudt? Is Traudt’s dad trying to be genuine/open and answering questions for us fans that don’t exactly know what happened?
I’m just curious about why Traudt’s dad would be talking about it, especially because he couldn’t get his own son to ante’ up to a challenge and potentially mortgaged his future to play for a lesser coach even with TONS of playing time ahead of him.
I just watched the Kadin interview, and I don’t think there was anything inflammatory in there. Certainly nothing everyone didn’t already know. In fact I suspect Kadin was actually showing great restraint in saying things like “I had some ups and downs this year” rather than “That was some bullshit, man.” It’s fine.
