It is just insane how easily he is able to beat his man off the dribble and get inside the defense. Of course, he is lucky he is not being defended by himself.

Now that Boeheim, K and Roy are retired, is Bennett 2nd in seniority among ACC coaches after Hamilton (who might be gone after this season)? Then Brownell started in 2010 and Larranaga in 2011? And I have no idea off the top of my head who might be after that. Maybe Keatts?

Big picture itās kind of wild that this season played out as many predicted (in broad strokes):
- Lots of ups and downs. Will take some lumps.
- Get better as we go
- Defense will outpace offense (I didnāt think this and was v wrong)
And this is all with our transfers generally not meeting expectations.
Overall pretty happy with how things have gone. Just want to see a strong finish to close it out.

Thatās a good list. Iād add to that: Offense would rely more on attacking the basket than outside shooting. Although I thought Eli and Leon would be a bigger part of that.
Iām not sure I agree that the transfers havenāt met expectations. I can see Rohde in that category (mainly because our expectations were unrealistically high), but Groves has exceeded expectations, and Minor now is probably about what we thought he would be.

I agree on the transfers front. Grooves with his run since Jan is far better than I thought and Minor lowkey saved the season and heās provided more than I thought given preseason rumblings

Hmm yeah. I dunno. Thought Groves would be a streaky shooter, but give us a punch, and a bit of a liability on D. I guess the shooting numbers overall are better than expected but heās sort of ticked those boxes. Heās the exception, whereas Minor, Harris, and Rohde all slightly below.
Minor I expected to be a solid 8 points 6 rebound guy the whole season, so the not meeting expectations is basically the first half of the season (which might not be his fault at all, just what it is).

IMO, recent years Tonyās preference for shorter rotations. Others will say stuff about how he doesnāt measure up that theyāll have take back soon, hopefully very soon

Heās too small to play the 4, but doesnāt have the handling or shot to play the 3 (in most of our lineups).
Iād love for Bond to tough it out, but just a lot of development needed for him to play the 3.

I think Bond is a great player and does some things very well. Just not a positional fit. And especially clunky with this roster full of non shooters.
