Pushing the ball in transition came to mind. Attacking non-set defenses. Reece Dante Bond Dunn can all run. Find McKneely for the trailing 3pter.

Got Buchanan two great looks he just didnât convert. Ran much crisper action in the 2nd half I though just werenât hitting our shots.
First half was a disaster offensively

Offensive strategy was clear and consistent⌠pass up good shots early in the shot clock to take bad shots or turn the ball over with the shot clock running down.

Downside to that is tough to get out and run when you arent forcing TOs and starting every possession from an in bounds itâs tough to beat anyone down the court

The thing that bugged me the most the enitre game isnât even the obvious flaws.
Blackwell for Wisconsin was a 3 star with no other high major offers and 0 reputation as a 3pt shooter and he played more confidently/less overthinking than our entire team outside of Reece. Why are our players playing so afraid and hesitating and afraid? Bond was a top 60 kid out of hs and redshirted to develop and work on his 3pt shot. Why arenây we posting him up on a guard or kicking out to him open on the perimeter for the 3.
Dont let things be a self-fulfilling prophecy by not instilling confidence in your own players.

Look, we also got out coached, Wisconsin clearly practiced beating the post double and we still ran it incessantly. Wisconsin was out rebounding us and we didnât go big and instead went smaller but our âsmallerâ lineup still canât drive.

More Bond would also help because with Bond in we are more likely to switch on screens than hedge.
Wisconsin punished us BADLY on the hedges and post doubles. They are a veteran team who returned most everyone and run the similar things we do so they knew right away how to attack it easily.

I think you just pick the lesser poison. A crowl 2 here and there better than our entire defense falling a part and open 3s and fouls for being out of position of slow rotations defending the pass out of the double.
