Article is still up on the website:
I like how theyâre just gonna try to recruit the tallest possible transfer each offseason.
Itâs official again!

According to this, Lauterbach is expected to return too. Two 6â7" players on the team.
Iâm totally down with Lauterbach coming back. She was fun and seemed like a good teammate.
Also, it was wild that the tallest player on the team, by far, took 1/3 of her shots from 3 point range.
Mir McLean in the portal:(
Damn. I was not expecting that at all.
Well thatâs a bit of a gut punch.

Huh didnât think the portal was on the table. But not like the team is losing out on a critical piece given she hasnât played in a year.
Grad school maybe?
How well she came back from that injury is the big question mark. If she were to be as good as sheâd been in 2022-23, then itâs a huge loss given the absolute lack of front court production we currently have. If sheâs limited still, though, then it was what it was and we were going to have to supplement her anyways.
For sure assuming she is healthy and can go then she is a talent and it will be missed on a team that is short of front court players. I look at it kind of like missing out on a recruit, Mir was essentially not part of the current version of the team so they are only missing out on potential, or what-ifs. Now when she goes to MD and drops 16 and 10 every night Iâll be pissed.
Any ideas on the context here?
Sounds like she found her Mir replacement
Replacing the non-playing Mir from this year: not hard.
Replacing the dominant athletic hoops machine from the year before: very hard.
Do we know what Coach Moxâs post from a few days ago was about? Havenât seen a new portal addition since the Maryland Center last week.
Just saw that Taylor got a training camp contract with Minnesota
