1-23 from 3 point range, yet only had 4 less total buckets than OK. 25% would get back at least 12 of the 15 points they lost by. Wow, just wow.

Yeah, it’s weird, I actually come away from this game more optimistic about this season than before, because we played pretty even with OU apart from that 1-23 stat, which, okay we’re probably not a great 3-pt shooting team, but we’re far from THAT bad. We were +10 on turnovers and +10 on orebs, giving us 21 more shot attempts and 5 more FT attempts. Just… the score isn’t based on attempts. Apparently you have to make the shots or you don’t get credit (?).
Defense really fell apart last few minutes though, think that’s what had Mox so pissed.

Argh. First game of the season none of us was able to make and the first loss. Its weird feeling like me watching the team might make them better, though OU being dramatically better than the other opponents might have an impact as well.
The 3FG shooting woes are weirdly extreme.

That was the first women’s game I’ve been to in many many years, so it was probably my fault. Since they play quarters, do they not have TV timeouts? The game seemed real snappy.

Looking ahead to the Hoos game with LSU and reading all the Angel Reese chatter. There’s no way she’s gone because of academics right? I thought the only way to fail at LSU as an athlete would be to actually forget to enroll.

So if I want to watch these next 2 games, I have to pay $30 for a one-month subscription to FloHoops, is that right? Are there any alternatives besides radio?

17-2 Q2 run for UVA. They’ve been a seriou a 2nd half, Q4 team so far this season so no need to panic after Q1 when they always play like poop.
